Kees van Dongen: A lot of visitors

Have you been to see All Eyes on Van Dongen yet? The exhibition is unbelievably popular! Just one month after the opening and 50,000 people have already visited the museum. Kees van Dongen is alive in Rotterdam!

Van Dongen lovers from all over the country are flocking to Rotterdam to see All Eyes on Van Dongen. With more than ten thousand visitors every week this exhibition is one of the largest crowd-pullers of recent years. ‘Van Dongen in full glory,’ wrote the Volkskrant, and the NRC said, ‘An unusually intriguing exhibition.’ The small exhibition Kees was Here in the Art Studio on the ground floor is also attracting young and old into the world of Kees van Dongen.

And you can also encounter ‘the artist’ beyond the museum gates. Using your admission ticket to the Kees van Dongen exhibition you can get a discount when you visit the Euromast. The restaurant in the tower is serving a three-course Kees van Dongen menu. The museum’s admission ticket gives a diner free entry to the tower. You can book a Van Dongen hotel package with Hotel Pincoffs, the Bilderberg Parkhotel and the Manhattan Hotel in Rotterdam.

Please note: A surcharge of €5 applies until 23 January 2011. In the case of some extremely expensive exhibitions, like All Eyes on Kees van Dongen, a surcharge has to be imposed; this surcharge applies to the whole museum.
