Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and the Port of Rotterdam are extremely pleased with the success of ‘Infernopolis’, the first exhibition in the Submarine Wharf. Since the opening at the beginning of the summer the exhibition has attracted large numbers of visitors every week. At the beginning of September the Submarine Wharf welcomed its 15,000th visitor.
Seize your chance and take the Aqualiner to the RDM complex. The Submarine Wharf is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12.00 - 8.00 p.m.
On the final Sunday there will be a festive finissage of ‘Infernopolis’ in the Submarine Wharf. You are cordially invited to help the museum and Port of Rotterdam to celebrate this success. From 2.00 p.m. you can take part in a guided tour of the exhibition or the RDM complex or take a short boat trip around Rotterdam’s harbour. The festivities will come to a close at 5.00 p.m. with the announcement of the future plans for the Submarine Wharf by the museum’s director, Sjarel Ex, and a ‘Cradle to Cradle’ dinner.
More details about the programme for 26 September will be posted soon on our website: www.boijmans.nl.
