Free Wi-Fi in the Espresso Bar

It is no secret that Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s Espresso Bar serves the best coffee, but now you can also get free Internet access. It is not only museum visitors that enjoy a delicious cup of coffee here; the Espresso Bar’s inspiring environment also attracts many people who are not visiting the museum.

The Espresso Bar is the ideal place to relax after a day wandering through the museum, but it is also a wonderful place to meet friends or to do some work. With your own laptop and the free Wi-Fi connection you can also revisit the highlights from the museum’s collection at You can also watch the latest films on, the museum’s online video channel, while enjoying a cup of coffee in one of the Espresso Bar’s comfortable chairs.

In addition to the Espresso Bar, there is much more to do and see in the museum’s free entrance area. The museum shop offers a broad selection of art books, monograph and catalogues that provide information about the collection and the temporary exhibitions. The artists Lutz & Guggisberg are presenting their ideal studio in one of the large galleries on the ground floor. Pipilotti Rist has also taken over one of the museum’s spaces. Her video installation ‘Let Your Hair Down’ can be found in the stairwell. Here you can climb into a large colourful rope net and watch videos by Pipilotti Rist. There are regular presentations of prints and drawings from the museum’s collection in the Print Room.
