The Swiss duo Andres Lutz (1968) & Anders Guggisberg (1966) work tirelessly on their theatrical visual oeuvre using constantly changing techniques. At the same time as they are making their expressive paintings, they endlessly rearrange and recombine everyday elements from domestic interiors, offices and museums to create alienating sculptures and installations. For their exhibition in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen the pair are having the scenery they designed for a play at the Stadstheater in Bern brought to Rotterdam, where they will present it in an entirely new way in the museum setting of the Willem van der Vorm Gallery.
