Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen was the first museum in the Netherlands to launch its own video channel on the Internet. Since October 2009 ArtTube is regularly updated with up-to-the-minute and historical videos on art and design.
This month Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen publishes a new videoseries consisting of interviews with fashion designers, such as Walter van Beirendonck and Hussein Chalayan. The work of these designers are part of the exhibition The Art of Fashion: Installing Allusions now on view in the museum. Go to ArtTube!
ArtTube has a big brother: ArtBabble
On the other side of the world, the Indianapolis Museum of Art came up with the same idea and made ArtBabble. ArtTube and ArtBabble are somewhat similar, so we are now working together. On ArtBabble you can watch videos from mainly American museums, such as MoMA and Guggenheim.
ArtTube is an initiative of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and has been developed with the aid of VSBfonds, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s partner in education
