The exhibition design

The plan of the exhibition ‘Elixir’ resembles an organism with a stomach, a heart and lungs.

Within this organism Pipilotti Rist (Zurich, 1962) is showing nine audio video installations amid undulating semi-transparent walls. The total effect is a 'Gesamtkunstwerk' that immerses the visitor in a world of images that are alternately free, Elysian, melancholy and socio-critical.
