The Oskar Kokoschka exhibition has been met with an enthusiastic response from the public and positive reviews in the media. Posters reproducing his masterpiece ‘The Mandrill’ from the museum’s collection have been seen all over the country.
For just one more month (until 19 January 2014) the museum is showing Oskar Kokoschka’s colourful portraits of people and animals. The exhibition is also open on 26 December and on Monday 30 December.
For this exhibition the museum has developed partnerships with a range of other venues throughout the city. Why not visit Blijdorp zoo, for example, and see the animals for real?
Kokoschka family day
The family day on 5 January is devoted entirely to Kokoschka with a variety of workshops for young and old. A day to unleash your creativity.
