Two new City Curators for Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen
Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has two new City Curators: Saskia van Kampen and Louise Schouwenberg. They take over the baton from Annemartine van Kesteren, Patricia Pulles and Bregje van Woensel, who jointly held this post from 2006 until 2008.
Over the next three years the two new City Curators will manage and present works by Rotterdam-based artists in the museum’s collection. They will undertake an intensive exploration of the city’s cultural terrain and will initiate a variety of exhibitions and projects in response to new developments. The appointment is for three years and is financed by the Municipality of Rotterdam.
